Prime Minister Gonsalves met with the Right Honourable Christopher Geidt, CVO OBE, Private Secretary to Queen Elizabeth II. Mr. Geidt, who was recently sworn of Her Majesty's most honourable Privy Council, has been Private Secretary to the Sovereign since 2007. Prime Minister Gonsalves and Mr. Geidt discussed Commonwealth matters, including the upcoming Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting in Trinidad and Tobago and the Meeting of Finance Ministers in St. Lucia. They also discussed tourism development Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, Britain's engagement with Commonwealth countries, and matters of mutual interest.
