Prime Minister Gonsalves held a meeting with President Abdullah Gül of the Republic of Turkey. They discussed assistance to the Argyle International Airport, including a recent visit to Saint Vincent and the Grenadines by officials from TAV Airports Holding, a Turkish Airport Contruction and Management Company. The leaders also discussed scholarships, Turkey-CARICOM partnerships, Turkey's candidature to the UN Security Council, and other forms of economic, trade, and cultural cooperation.
