NEW YORK, NY, November 7, 2007: The Permanent Mission of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines to the United Nations has a new web site.

The site, whose address is www.svg-un.org, was created by Camillo Gonsalves, the Mission's Ambassador and Permanent Representative. The site contains information about the Mission staff, recent statements and speeches, and news about the Mission and its activities. Additionally, staff members now have their own "@svg-un.org" e-mail addresses.

Ambassador Gonsalves made launching the web site a priority when he realized that most Vincentians did not have easy access to information about the Mission and its role in St. Vincent and the Grenadines' foreign policy. The Mission staff also considers the website a necessary step into the digital age of information.

The www.svg-un.org web site will be updated often, and will be improved over time to eventually become a full portal into the activities of the Saint Vincent and the Grenadines Mission.
